Kuwait-Mubasher: The price index of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) started Tuesday with a decline of 0.05% or 3.6 points to settle at 5,798.78 points at 9:45 am Kuwait local time.
The weighted index inched up 0.01% or 0.02 points to reach 393.14 points. Also, Kuwait-15 index rose 0.18% or 1.68 points to approach 931.32 points.
As the session started, the price index gave a negative performance by breaking below 5,793 points, said technical analyst Nawaf Al-Oun.
He added that KSE’s liquidity will be restored if the index reached 5,815 points.
Trading volume reached 17.5 million shares through 556 transactions that generated a value of KWD 1.4 million.
Kuwait Cable Vision was the top winner with growth of 10% to 27.5 fils, while Mezzan Holding led the losers as it dropped 6.9%.
Iskan stock was the most active stock as 2.4 million shares were traded. The stock settled at 32.5 fils.
