Kuwait-Mubasher: The benchmark index of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) on Wednesday inched up 0.04% or 2.5 points to settle at 9:45 am Kuwait local time.
The weighted index gained 0.04% or 0.14 points to reach 393.21 points. Similarly, the Kuwait-15 index rose 0.4% or 0.41 points to approach 939 points.
The price index would keep heading north to 5,906 points if it targeted 5,815 points in the near future, said technical analyst Nawaf Al-Oun.
He added that the 5,906-point level has not been reached since August.
Turnover amounted to KWD 3.04 million, after 43.5 million shares were traded through 1000 transactions.
Gulf Petroleum Investment was the most active stock with 8.61 million shares traded through 148 deals, with value of about KWD 493,400. The stock rose by 3.5%.
Al-Oun also expected that if the bourse’s curve went down, it will stand at 5,718 points as a support level and at 5,657 points as a bottom level.
