Kuwait-Mubasher: The benchmark index of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) retreated 0.58% or 29.63 points to settle at 5,103.23 points by 9:50 am Kuwait local time on Wednesday.
The Weighted Index dropped 0.96% or 3.38 points to reach 350.31 points. Also KSX 15 fell by 1.34% or 11.18 points to 821.53 points.
“As long as the price index is above 5,097 points, it will continue to target 5,195 points. However, the index will aim at 5,050 and 4,998 points respectively if it breaks below the target,” said technical analyst Nawaf Al-Oun.
Liquidity amounted to KWD 3.4 million, after 32.7 million shares were traded through 945,000 transactions.
Remal topped the winners with 4.69% growth, while IFA led the losers after decreasing 5.88%.
Munshaat was the most active stock as 3.7 million shares were traded.
Zain recorded the highest turnover of around KWD 900,000, however, the stock fell by 2.7%.
