Kuwaiti bourse’s indices close in green zone

Kuwait-Mubasher: The benchmark index of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) levelled up 0.05% or 2.67 points to close at 5,204.3 points on Wednesday.

The weighted index rose by 0.33% or 1.16 points to reach 357.58 points, and similarly, the KSX 15 index grew 0.33% or 2.74 points.

Liquidity increased 44.6% to KWD 13.84 million, as trading volume grew by 34.4% to 165.95 million shares.

The services sector topped the gainers by adding 0.85%, backed by Inovest and KFIC which rose by 10% and 8.06% respectively.

Meanwhile, the technology sector led the decliners by 1.37% drop as Automated Systems fell by 2.99%.

Humansoft headed the losers by a fall of 8.2% or 50 fils to settle at 560 fils.

Investors Group was the most active as 17.53 million shares were traded, with a value of about KWD 389,100. However, the stock fell by 2.27%.

NBK recorded the highest turnover with KWD 1.83 million as 2.8 million shares were traded, with the stock settling at 650 fils.
