Kuwait-Mubasher: The price index of Kuwait’s stock market grew 0.07% or 3.6 points to close at 5,243.79 points on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the weighted index fell by 0.53% or 1.92 points to settle at 360.57 points. Similarly, KSX 15 index dropped 0.75% or six points to reach 851 points.
Today’s trading value shrank 11.25% to KWD 12.54 million after trading volume decreased to 118.96 million shares.
The healthcare sector was the top gainer after rising 1.03%, backed by Yiaco Medical which grew 4.04%. The consumer goods sector headed the decliners as it lost 0.97%.
Kuwait medical Services topped the winners with an 8.77% rise, while Contracting and Marine Services led the losers after shedding 8.77%.
Al Safat Energy was the most active as 11.34 million shares were exchanged, with a value of about KWD 129,600. The stock rose by 4.55%.
NBK recorded the highest liquidity as it stood at KWD 2.3 million, after 3.08 million shares were traded. However, the stock fell 1.35%.
