Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) ended Thursday’s trading session with a mixed performance.
The price index gained 0.29% or 16.11 points to 5,511.71 points, the weighted index levelled up 0.43%, while Kuwait-15 lost 0.01%.
The telecom sector was the top winner with a rise of 1.55%, endorsed by Ooredoo which rose by 7.4%.
Meanwhile, the real estate sector led the decliners with a fall of 0.14%, dragged by the 6.73% drop of Remal which was the top loser.
KSE’s trading value shrank by 16.8% to KWD 14.05 million, as trading volume decreased by 8.3% to 156.85 million shares.
Ithmaar Bank was the most active stock on which 23 million shares were traded.
Zain stock recorded the highest liquidity that totalled KWD 1.5 million.
