Kuwaiti bourse’s indices open in red zone

Kuwait-Mubasher: The benchmark index of Kuwait Stock Exchange levelled down by 0.12% or 6.5 points to settle at 5,272.61 points at the opening of Monday’s trading session.

The weighted index fell by 0.09% to reach 363.14 points.

KSX 15 index lost 0.02% or 0.21 points to approach 856.08 points.

Liquidity stood at KWD 8.7 million, after 109.94 million shares were exchanged through 2,051 transactions.

The real estate sector fell 0.8%, led down by Al Mazaya Holding, Al Dar National, and Kuwait Real Estate which declined by 3.5%, 2.4%, and 1.9% respectively.

Also, the banks sector retreated 0.5%, as CBK and NBK fell by 2% and 1.3% respectively.
