Kuwait – Mubasher: The price index of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) started Thursday’s session up 0.04% or 2.27 points to reach 5,473.07 points.
Meanwhile, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices levelled down 0.32% and 0.59% respectively.
KSE’s trading value reached KWD 1.9 million, after 14 million shares were exchanged through 420 transactions.
The oil and gas sector topped four gainers by a growth of 0.18%, backed by The Energy House which gained 3.2%.
The telecom sector led five decliners by 0.6%, dragged by Zain and Viva which lost 1.5% and 1.06% respectively.
Automated systems topped the winners by 6.56%.
Manazel was the most active stock on which 4.91 million shares were traded, with the stock rising 5.45%.
NBK recorded the highest liquidity that exceeded KWD 1 million. The stock fell by 1.67%.
