Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) started Thursday’s trading session with a mixed performance.
The price index levelled up 0.42% to reach 5,478.43 points by 9:50am Kuwait time.
Meanwhile, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices fell by 0.09% and 0.32% respectively.
KSE’s trading value reached KWD 5.7 million after 74.3 million shares were traded through 1,516 transactions.
The financial services sector topped the gainers on the back of GFH which gained 8.5%.
The banks sector rose by 0.31% in line with the 4.3% growth of Ithmaar, and the real estate segment advanced by 0.16% on the back of First Dubai which rose by 5.4%.
Meanwhile, the telecom sector was the only decliner with 0.11%, dragged by the 1.82% fall of Ooredoo.
