Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) started Thursday with mixed performance.
The price index retreated by 0.04% or 2.10 points to reach 5,669.88 points by 9:40am Kuwait time. Meanwhile, bot the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices gained 0.23% and 0.44% respectively.
KSE’s trading value amounted to KWD 3.57 million, after 52.14 million shares were exchanged through 960 transactions.
The real estate sector led six decliners with 0.2%, dragged by Kuwait Real Estate which lost 1.6%.
The banks segment went up 0.42% on the back of GBK which gained 3.6%. The telecom sector also rose by 0.34% in line with the 1.09% growth of viva.
Investors was the most active stock on which 21 million shares were traded.
GBK recorded the highest liquidity that reached about KWD 919,180.
