Kuwaiti bourse’s indices start Tuesday lower

Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) inched down 0.05% to reach 5,537.19 points by 9:35am Kuwait time.

Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices lost 0.12% and 0.08% respectively on Tuesday.

KSE’s trading value amounted to KWD 1.432 million after 12.67 million shares were exchanged through 394 transactions.

The real estate segment was the top decliner with a drop of 0.5%, dragged by Salhia which lost 6.6%.

The financial services sector retreated by 0.33%, in line with the 8.7% fall of KMEFIC.

Meanwhile, the consumer goods sector went up 0.38%, as Danah Al Safat levelled up 3.4%. The oil and gas segment also gained 0.15%, endorsed by the 1.4% growth of Senergy.
