Kuwait-Mubasher: The price index of Kuwait’s stock market dropped 0.27% or 14.02 points to close at 5,118.84 points on Wednesday.
The Weighted Index retreated 1.15% or 4.08 points to reach 349.61 points. Also, KSX 15 fell by 1.82% or 15.19 points to 814.52 points.
Today’s trading value declined to KWD 10.64 million after trading volume decreased to 106.94 million shares.
The technology sector topped the decliners with a decrease of 1.8%, while the insurance sector led the gainers with 0.72% growth.
Amar for Finance was the top winner by adding 9.26%, while Mena Real Estate headed the losers with a 7.69% decline.
Mubarrad Transport was the most active stock as 10.52 million shares were traded through 231 transactions, with liquidity worth about KWD 741,300. The stock levelled 5.97% up.
Zain recorded the highest turnover of more than KWD 1.5 million, after 157 deals were executed through 4.3 million shares. However, the stock fell by 5.41% or 20 fils to settle at 350 fils.
