Kuwait-Mubasher: The Kuwaiti bourse saw a negative performance in the week ended 17 December, 2015 as compared to the previous week which ended 10 December.
The price index fell by 1.1% or 62.5 points after reaching 5,623.69 points as compared to 5,686.15 points a week ago.
The weighted index dropped 1.2% or 4.6 points to settle at 386 points, similarly, Kuwiat-15 index lost 1.4% or 12.6 points to 902.16 points.
During the week, Kuwait Stock Exchange achieved turnover worth KWD 62.17 million, down 7% from the previous week. Trading volume plunged 14.9% to 475.25 million shares with trades of about 13,790 transactions.
Market cap retreated by KWD 270 million to KWD 26.15 billion as compared to KWD 26.42 billion in the previous week.
