Kuwait – Mubasher: The Kuwaiti bourse witnessed a grouped rise during November 2016 when compared to the performance in October.
The price index of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) gained 2.84% or more than 153 points to end November at 5,554.46 points when compared to 5,401.07 points in the previous month.
KSE’s weighted index levelled up by 3.7% or 13.09 points to reach 367.13 points this month from 354.04 points in October.
The Kuwait-15 index rose by 3.47% to end November at 855.16 points, compared with 826.51 points by the end of October.
Over the month, market cap increased by 3.6% or KWD 890 million ($2.92 billion) to total KWD 25.37 billion ($83.08 billion) by the end of November, from KWD 24.48 billion ($80.17 billion) by the end of October, according to statistics available for Mubasher.
KSE’s turnover grew by 27.3% to KWD 328.46 million ($1.08 billion), compared to KWD 257.94 million ($844.71 million) in October.
Trading volume increased by 73.1% to reach 2.91 billion shares from 1.68 billion traded over October.
Transactions increased by 56.1% to total about 70,610 over November as compared to approximately 45,240 executed in October.
