Kuwait – Mubasher: The trading activity of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) in October was positive.
The price index of KSE inched up 0.05% or 2.68 points to reach 5,401.07 points this month as compared to 5,398.39 points in September.
The weighted and Kuwait-15 indices levelled up 0.62% and 1.52% respectively.
KSE’s trading value soared 167.7% to KWD 257.94 million in October as compared to KWD 96.36 million a month ago.
Trading volume increased 86.2% to 1.68 billion shares over October from 902.03 million traded in the previous month.
Transactions grew 54.4% to about 45,240 as compared to nearly 29,290 in September.
On 26 October, KSE witnessed the highest liquidity that reached KWD 33.92 million, while the highest trading volume of 178 million shares was on 25 October.
