Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) saw positive performance during the week ended 15 December.
The price index gained 1.42% or 16.86 points in a week to reach 5,668.49 points as compared to 5,589.16 points a week ago.
The weighted index levelled up 1.35% or 5.04 points, and Kuwait-15 rose by 1.9% or 16.86 in a week.
KSE’s trading value increased by 37% to amount to KWD 88.94 million this week as compared to KWD 64.94 million.
Trading volume grew by 61.5% to total 1.07 billion shares from 663.83 million a week ago.
Transactions reached about 20,020 this week, 42.5% higher from 14,050 in the previous week.
Market cap gained 1.3% or KWD 344 million ($1.13 billion) over the week to total KWD 26.144 billion ($85.49 billion) from KWD 25.8 billion ($84.37 billion) a week ago.
