Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) started Monday up 0.21% or 10.93 points to reach 5,401.95 points by 9:35am Kuwait time.
Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices gained 0.55% and 0.8% respectively on the back of eight sectors.
KSE’s trading value stood at KWD 4 million, after 39 million shares were traded through 773 transactions.
The insurance sector topped eight gainers with 0.55% in line with the 5.32% growth of First Takaful which was the top winner.
Meanwhile, there were no decliners at open, yet six segments remained unchanged.
Ajwan led the losers with a fall of 12.2% to 36 fils.
Investors was the most active stock on which 5.6 million shares were exchanged at a value of KWD 1.17 million.
Zain recorded the highest liquidity that reached KWD 1.6 million after 4.1 million shares were traded.
