Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) started Sunday’s session with a grouped decline.
The benchmark index edged down 0.11% or 5.76 points to reach 5,314.46 points by 9:25am Kuwait time. Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices retreated 0.05% each.
KSE’s turnover amounted to KWD 1.55 million, after 6.71 million shares were exchanged through 195 transactions.
The industrial sector led the decliners with a fall of 0.33%, while the financial services sector topped the gainers with a rise of 0.07%.
UPAC led the losers with 4.4%, while Boubyan International Industries was the top winner with a growth of 3.85%.
Kuwait Projects Holding (KIPCO) was the most active stock on which around 907,770 shares were traded at a value of nearly KWD 481,120. The stock declined 1.85%.
Americana recorded the highest liquidity that reached nearly KWD 660,360 after approximately 256,150 shared were traded. The stock rose 0.78%.
