Kuwait – Mubasher: The price index of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) started Thursday’s session down 0.10% or 5.10 points to reach 5,341.44 points by 9:40am Kuwait time.
Meanwhile, Kuwait-15 and the weighted indices levelled up 0.13% and 0.04% respectively.
KSE’s turnover reached about KWD 907,500 after 5.6 million shares were traded through 192 transactions.
The financial services sector led the decliners with a fall of 0.23%, while the banks sector topped the gainers with 0.11% rise.
Shipbuilding was the top loser with 5%, while Kuwait Real Estate topped the winners with 7.3%.
Investors was the most active stock on which 2.3 million shares were exchanged at a value of nearly KWD 46,500. The stock dropped 2.4%.
Americana posted the highest turnover that reached approximately KWD 605,400 after about 234,700 shares were traded. The stock gained 0.78% to KWD 2.5.
