Kuwait – Mubasher: The price index of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) started Thursday’s session falling 0.04% or 1.92 points to reach 5,411.47 points by 9:20am Kuwait time.
Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices retreated 0.36% and 0.62% respectively.
Turnover amounted to about KWD 707,700 after 7.2 million shares were exchanged through 238 transactions.
The telecom sector led six decliners by a fall of 1.33%, while the financial services sector topped two gainers by 0.42%.
KFIC was the top winner by 4.11%, while Gulf Franchising headed the losers by 8.5%.
Investors was the most active stock on which 1.2 million shares were traded, while Americana recorded the highest liquidity that reached about KWD 306,800.
