Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) saw a mixed performance by 10:10am Kuwait time on Wednesday.
The price index levelled up by 0.08% or 4.4 points to reach 5,547.96 points, while both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices retreated by 0.08% and 0.03% respectively.
The health care sector topped six gainers with 1.4%, followed by the consumer goods, real estate, and the oil and gas sectors which rose by 1.14%, 0.23%, and 0.15% respectively.
Meanwhile, the telecom sector headed five decliners with a fall of 1.5%. The banks sector also dropped 0.24%.
KSE’s trading value amounted to KWD 4.64 million, after 36.24 million shares were exchanged through 1,033 transactions.
Gulf Investment House was the most active stock on which 7.35 million shares were traded. The stock levelled up by 3.7%.
Agility recorded the highest turnover that reached KWD 1.43 million. The stock rose by 3.6%.
