Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) started Wednesday’s trading session with mixed performance by 9:30am Kuwait time.
The price index inched up by 0.07% or 4.55 points to reach 5,676.17 points, the weighted index edged up 0.01%, while Kuwait-15 index fell by 0.02%.
KSE’s trading value stood at KWD 3.06 million, after 52.7 million shares were exchanged through 858 transactions.
The oil and gas segment led the decliners with 0.3%, dragged by Energy House which fell by 5.6%.
Meanwhile, the real estate sector topped the gainers with 0.55%, on the back of Tijara and Real Estate which rose by 5.9%. The telecom sector rose by 0.10% in line with the 1.75% growth of Ooredoo.
Kuwait Syrian Holding was the most active stock on which 11.74 million shares were traded at a value of around KWD 347,600.
