Kuwait-Mubasher: The price index of Kuwait’s stock market started Wednesday with a growth of 0.07% or 4.2 points to settle at 5,807.49 points at 9:30 am Kuwait local time.
The weighted index rose by 0.32% or 1.25 points to reach 393.31 points. The Kuwait-15 index levelled up 0.46% or 4.3 points to approach 932.88 points.
Turnover stood at KWD 2.23 million, as trading volume reached 42.3 million shares which were traded through 725 transactions.
Liquidity remains weak and investors are showing no intention help the market hurdle the resistance level of 5,815 points, said technical analyst Nawaf Al-Oun.
GFH started today’s session as the top winner by adding 5.6%, while Salbookh led the losers with a decrease of 2.5%.
Also, GFH was the most active stock as 18 million shares were exchanged viva 177 deals, with a value of about KWD 670,300.
