Kuwait – Mubasher: The price of Kuwait’s crude oil fell by 40 cents to reach $50.31 per barrel on Tuesday as compared with $50.71 pb on Monday, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) said according to Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC).
At the global level, Brent crude oil levelled up by 43 cents to settle at $55.35 per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate went up 11 cents to reach $52.12 pb.
“Oil prices rose in international markets due to expectations of a severe drop in US crude reserves. However, prices saw a slight drop as Libya announced the re-opening of two pipelines that were closed for two years,” KUNA said.
