Kuwaiti crude oil exports to Japan hike 46% in November

Kuwait – Mubasher: Kuwaiti crude oil exports to Japan have increased by 46% to 7.18 million barrels in November 2017, 239,000 barrels per day (bpd), according to a report released by the Japanese Agency for Natural Resources and Energy (ANRE).

Kuwait, the fourth-biggest oil exporter to Japan, made up 7.2% of Japan’s total oil imports in November 2016, ANRE revealed.

Japan’s total crude oil imports surged 5.9% year-on-year to 3.33 million bpd, while the Middle East exporters accounted for 90.8% of the country’s oil imports, the energy agency added.

Saudi Arabia, the top oil exporter to Japan, increased crude oil exports to Tokyo by 12.5% YoY to 1.39 million bpd.
