Kuwaiti crude oil up $2.37 – KPC

Kuwait – Mubasher: The price of Kuwait’s crude oil rose by $2.37 to reach $51.91 per barrel on Monday as compared to $49.54 pb on Friday, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) said according to Kuwait Petroleum Corporation.

KUNA noted that the price of oil, at the global level, was up to its highest price in 18 months on Monday following key world producers led by Russia and OPEC members which agreed to reduce production by the beginning of 2017.

The price of Brent crude oil went up by $1.36 to $55.69 per barrel, the same case with the American crude which was up by $1.33 to settle at $52.83 pb.
