Kuwait-Mubasher: Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) saw a negative performance this week, as the benchmark index declined 0.43% or 22.8 points to settle at 5,262.07 points, down from 5,284.87 points last week.
The weighted index retreated 1.13% or 4.14 points to settle at 363.39 points the week ended 17 March as compared to 367.53 points a week ago.
Similarly, KSX 15 index dropped 1.6% or 14 points to reach 857.74 points, compared to 871.7 points.
KSE’s liquidity shrank by 5.8% to KWD 64.3 million over the week as trading volume decreased 760.71 million shares. The number of transaction reached around 17,430.
The market cap lost KWD 280 million to stand at KWD 25.03 billion by the end of this week, compared to KWD 25.31 billion a week ago.
