Kuwait-Mubasher: A committee is formed to look into rationalising all subsidies that are being provided by the Kuwaiti government, Commerce and Industry minister Yousef Al-Ali told Mubasher on the sidelines of launching the second edition of Cityscape Kuwait.
In an exclusive statement to Mubasher, the minister clarified that subsidies were open with no boarders, adding that the government subsidies should achieve the planned social and economic goals.
Al-Ali also stated that a law for imposing taxes on companies’ profits is still being studied.
