Kuwait – Mubasher: The price index of the Boursa Kuwait rose at Tuesday’s close by 0.24% or 16.55 points to the level of 7,015.78 points.
Likewise, the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices advanced by 0.34% and 0.55%, respectively.
Turnover increased to KWD 25.42 million from KWD 25.38 million on Monday, while trading volume decreased to 290.28 million shares from 318.61 million.
Eight sectors closed on a positive note, topped by the real estate sector after rising 0.61%, backed by an increase of 16.28% in Alargan International, the best performing stock.
The banks sector ascended 0.53% as Kuwait Finance House and Burgan Bank rose 1.89% and 1.49%, respectively. The industrial sector grew 0.33%.
On the other hand, financial services levelled down 0.01% due to a fall of 5.75% in Amwal International Investment.
National Consumer Holding topped losers after falling 9.09%.
Taameer witnessed the biggest trading volume activity with 17.8 million shares, while Burgan Bank made the highest turnover of KWD 3.4 million.
