Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Monday’s trading session down, as the All-Share market retreated by 0.31% to close at the level of 5,678.7 points after losing 17.4 points.
Both of the Main and Premier markets levelled down by 0.04% and 0.4%, respectively.
In the meantime, the bourse’s turnover dropped by 29.5% to KWD 19.1 million from KWD 14.75 million on Sunday, 29 September. The trading volume slid by 25.1% to 102.09 million shares from 81.64 million.
A group of three sectors fell, led by the banks with 0.54%, while a group of six sectors rose, headed by the oil and gas with 1.63%.
Amwal International Investment headed the fallers with 20%, while Taameer Real Estate Investment topped the risers with 11.35%.
National Bank of Kuwait (NBK), down 0.63%, posted the highest liquidity of KWD 2.78 million, while Al Enmaa Real Estate Company, down 0.64%, was the most active stock with 17.73 million shares traded.
