Kuwait – Mubasher: The Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) opened Sunday in red, reversing gains from last Thursday.
By 10:15am Kuwaiti time, the price index edged down 0.03%, or 1.37 points, to 5,345.58 points. The weighted index also inched down by 0.06%, or 0.22 points, to the level of 363.46 points.
Meanwhile, the KSX-15 steadied at the mark of 855.36 points.
With 62.94 million shares changing hands in 1,261 transactions, the bourse achieved a turnover of KWD 4.67 million.
Sector-wise, asic materials, insurance, and technology fell by 1.32%, 1.07%, and 0.96% respectively.
Tracking stock movement, the top losers were headed by Human Soft Holding (-6.85%), while the top gainers were led by Hits Telecom Holding (+4.35%).
On Thursday, the main gauge rose by 0.3%, or 16.17 points, to end the week at 5,346.95 points.
