Kuwaiti indices rise collectively at open

Kuwait – Mubasher: The Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) opened Tuesday in green, backed by a collective rise by its indices.

The price index grew 0.36% or 19.05 points to the level of 5,308.73 points, the weighted index rose 0.21% and the KSX-15 index advanced 0.13%.

Trading volume reached 52.1 million shares exchanged through 1,330 trades with a turnover of KWD 4.4 million.

Inovest was the best performer with a growth of 9.8%, while Ikarus Petroleum Industries was the worst after falling 7.55%.

National Ranges (Mayadeen) was the most active stock with a trading volume of 15.8 million shares, whereas GFH made the highest liquidity with KWD 524,000.

The bourse’s indices declined yesterday collectively, as the price, weighted and KSX-15 fell by 0.5%, 0.81% and 0.94% respectively.
