Kuwait – Mubasher: Kuwait's oil prices declined 97 cents on Friday to reach $43.69 per barrel compared with $44.66 on Thursday, according the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
Globally, oil prices fell by 3% on Friday due to the reproduction of the Nigerian and Canadian crude oil as well as the current process of profit-taking, KUNA indicated.
By 12:15 GMT yesterday, Brent crude fell by 0.7% to $49.1 per barrel and light crude oil also saw a slide of 0.35% to $48.3.
In the quarter ended 30 June, oil prices rose by 25%, thus giving a seven-year high performance during the second quarter of 2016.
