Kuwaiti oil increases 47 cents/barrel Tuesday

Kuwait - Mubasher: The price of Kuwaiti oil rose 47 cents per barrel (pb) on Tuesday, reaching $47.76 against $47.29 pb on Monday, according to the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation.

Brent crude was up 1.16% or $0.59 to $51.34 pb for May.

The increase in oil prices on international markets came after American Petroleum Institute announced on Tuesday that US oil inventories fell by 1.9 million barrels during the week ended on 21 March, compared to 4.5 million barrels last week.
