Mubasher: The price of Kuwait’s crude oil dropped 48 cents to settle at $13.63 per barrel (pb) on Monday, compared to $14.11 pb on Friday, 24 April, according to Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC).
Globally, prices of crude oil plunged by more than 24% amid signs that oil storage capacities are close to full worldwide.
The US West Texas Intermediate crude futures shed $4.16 or 24.56% to stand at $12.78 pb on Monday.
Meanwhile, Brent crude futures decreased by $1.45 pb or 6.8% to settle at $19.99 pb.
