Kuwaiti oil rises 34 cents pb on Friday

Kuwait – Mubasher: Kuwaiti oil rose 34 cents per barrel (pb) by the end of trades on Friday, closing at $41.46 pb from $41.21 pb on Thursday, according to data released by the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC).

Globally, oil prices increased 1% on Friday after the announcement of the coup attempt in Turkey, reported Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).

The number of US oil and gas rigs levelled up last week, in its third week in a row.
