Kuwaiti oil rises 55 cents – KPC

Kuwait – Mubasher: The price of Kuwait’s crude oil gained 55 cents to settle at $50.86 per barrel on Tuesday when compared to $50.31 pb on Friday, Kuwait News Agency KUNA) said according to Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the price of Brent crude oil increased by 93 cents to reach $56.09 per barrel, and the West Texas Intermediate went up by 88 cents to $53.90 pb.

“The price went up supported by the OPEC countries and major world producers' intentions to lower production by the start of 2017,” KUNA said.
