Mubasher: The price of Kuwaiti oil went up 14 cents on Thursday, according to the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC).
Kuwaiti crude registered $68.94 per barrel (pb) yesterday, compared with 68.80 pb on Wednesday, the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.
Meanwhile, oil prices declined in global markets for the second consecutive session, despite a slight decrease of USD in front of major currencies.
Nymex futures went down 0.7% to $68.43 per barrel, while brent declined by 0.5% to settle at $73.72 a barrel.
On Wednesday, the United States Energy Information Administration (EIA) reported another surge in American crude oil inventories by 6.2 million barrels.
