Kuwait-Mubasher: Petrochemical Industries Company (PIC) and Canada's Pembina Pipeline Corporation (Pembina) signed an agreement to provide a study for a world-scale propane dehydrogenation (PDH) and polypropylene (PP) facility in Alberta, Canada, said acting oil minister Anas Al-Saleh according to Kuwait News Agency.
“The feasibility study will be completed within six months followed by relevant approvals to proceed to Front End Engineering Design (FEED),” said Al-Saleh.
The project is planned to launch by 2020, subject to approvals from regulators, environmental authorities, and PIC as well as Pembina's board.
