Kuwaiti real estate sales see monthly surge, yearly fall

Kuwait – Mubasher: Kuwaiti real estate market improved in November 2015 compared to the previous month, as the total contract sales reached about KWD 327 million, with a rise of 62.7% month-on-month, and a fall of 26% year-on-year, according to a report of the National Bank of Kuwait (NBK).

The number of transactions in November rose 35% m/m to 489 transactions, and declined 35% y/y, while the average transaction value leapt 20.8% m/m to KWD 668,000 per transaction, and 14.5% y/y, the monthly report said.

It is worth noting that November saw 22 working days, versus 19 days in October.
