Kuwait-Mubasher: The Kuwaiti bourse saw a negative performance in the week ended 10 December, as the price index lost 1.77% or 102.6 points to settle at 5,686.15 points as compared to 5,788.74 points in the past week.
The weighted index ended the week at 386 points from 394.11 points a week ago, a decline of 2.06% or 8.1 points.
Moreover, the Kuwait-15 index finished this week at 914.8 points, compared to 939.12 points in the previous week, a loss of 2.59% or 24.3 points.
During the week, liquidity soared 36.9% to KWD 66.54 points from KWD 48.61 million in the past week, as trading volume rose by 2.7% to 558.42 million shares from 543.91 million. Meanwhile, transactions totalled about 13,710 by the end from nearly 14,170, a drop of 3.2%.
