Riyadh – Mubasher: L’azurde Company for Jewelry is looking at potential mergers and acquisitions, Sélim Chidiac, the company’s CEO, said.
“The Company’s retail operation continues to expand, with five lease agreements signed for showrooms in Saudi Arabia and Egypt, and we remain committed to improving efficiencies and productivity within the business,” he added in a press release published by the company on Thursday.
Chidiac noted that for the first time in its history, L’azurde launched a second jewelry brand in KSA, Kenaz, which caters to customers seeking top diamond jewelry designs at great value for money.
“Kenaz has been an instant success and we expect to see the brand grow in 2017,” the CEO said.
L’azurde net Income went down 17.8% to SAR 73 million in the first nine months of 2016 compared to SAR 88.7 million in the year-ago period.
