Cairo – Mubasher: The London Stock Exchange (LSE) has selected eight Egyptian companies among the most inspiring in Africa this year.
The Inspire Africa 2019 list includes Carbon Holdings, KarmSolar, Fawry, Eagle Chemical Group, German Medical Healthcare Corporation, and Cairo Three A, Enterprise reported.
These companies were chosen based on several criteria, including being privately held, success in achieving remarkable growth rates, and showing development support to Africa.
Around 360 companies from 32 countries on the continent have made the list and all must have less than $1 billion as an annual turnover to make the ranking.
The number of employees in these firms must not be less than 360, of which 23% are females.
