Riyadh - Mubasher: The London Stock Exchange (LSE) has made a very strong proposal for Saudi Aramco to lists its shares in Britain, Reuters cited a spokesman for Prime Minister Theresa May said on Monday.
“Obviously there are lots of big stock exchanges which have an interest in Aramco including the London Stock Exchange which we believe has made a very strong case for it being based here,” the spokesman said.
This comes after President Donald Trump discussed the matter with the Saudi King, with the aim of attracting Aramco to the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).
The initial public offering (IPO) of the largest oil company in the world is “very important to the United States”, as Trump stated.
