Dubai - Mubasher: LUMINA, a corporate finance firm, has announced the appointment of Rick Pudner, the former Group CEO of Emirates NBD, as its executive chairman to lead the company’s expansion plans.
Pudner will undertake the coordination of investment opportunities between the UK and the Middle East, the Dubai-based company stated on Tuesday.
“With LUMINA’s focus firmly on the mid-market segment in the Middle East region, our UK clients will have, much needed, direct access to our Dubai-based senior execution team, with significant global experience of capital and M&A transactions in the Middle East region,” Pudner said.
Rick Pudner had been an HSBC banker for 24 years and a prominent Group CEO of Emirates NBD in a successful period, in which he led the banks’ major mergers. Pudner is also a non-executive chairman at Beehive, a peer-to-peer lending platform.
“I am hugely excited that Rick has decided to take up the role and lead LUMINA’s strategic growth plans, which is a testament in itself,” LUMINA’s managing partner George Traub commented.
