Land allocated for service projects in new cities - Minister

Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s minister of housing Mostafa Madbouli assigned authority officials of new cities in Upper Egypt to directly allocate lands for any service project in these cities, according a statement on Wednesday.

Facilities will be offered to refund lands for any service project, Madbouli said, adding that the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) will provide new cities with buses to solve the transportation problem.

Madbouli stated that housing units implemented in the new cities will be inhabited, especially the Social Housing project, if the transportation problem is solved quickly.

The NUCA will offer a solution for the transportation problem, and it will establish all the service buildings to be submitted and operated by the different ministries, he added, noting that he received several complaints regarding the bad internal transportation service in new cities.
