Cairo – Mubasher: Landmark Sabbour has signed a deal with Marriott International, Inc. to bring W Hotels' bold design, signature Whatever/Whenever® service and innovative programming to Cairo in a bid to tap into the increasing demand for luxury in the most populous Arab nation.
Set to be opened in 2024, W Cairo will be located in the mixed-use development 1-NINETY which covers an area of 300,000 square metres in New Cairo, according to a statement on Monday.
Landmark Sabbour has injected EGP 28 billion ($1.75 billion) worth of investments into its 1-NINETY development.
The managing director of Landmark Sabbour, Amr Sultan, commented: “Our collaboration with Marriot International represents another milestone in our growth; it further demonstrates our commitment to collaborate with industry leaders, and stands as a chance to integrate the unique customer-centric services of W Hotels into our line of upscale products in 1-NINETY.”
The new hotel, situated 25 kilometres from Cairo International Airport, will feature a signature WET Deck (pool deck), AWAY® Spa and FIT ® Fitness Centre, 350 stunning rooms and suites, and a 500-square-metre Great Room.
