Abu Dhabi-Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw a negative performance on Sunday, weighed down by the fall of most sectors especially the energy and real estate’s.
The general index retreated 0.48% or 22.19 points to reach 4,567.65 points.
The energy sector led losers after falling 1.37% as Dana Gas went down 1.69%.
The real estate sector decreased 1.1% after Eshraq Properties and Aldar Properties slipped 1.03% each.
The telecom sector went down 0.5% as Etisalat retreated 0.5%. Likewise, the banks sector slid due to a decline in First Gulf Bank (FGB) by 0.08%.
The services sector advanced 0.96% at close.
Trading volume reached 58.24 million shares on Sunday, compared to 87.72 million shares last Thursday. Turnover amounted to AED 76.7 million, compared to AED 182 million.
