The benchmark index of Bahrain Bourse (BHB) achieved the highest level in 11 sessions, spurred by leading stocks in banks, investment, and industrial sectors.
The index gained 0.91% or 10.9 points to close at 1,215.8 points on Thursday.
Bahrain Islamic index rose by 1.20% to 818.3 points.
Turnover jumped 78% to BHD 1.371 million as trading volume reached 3.337 million shares.
Market cap stood at BHD 7.206 billion.
The industrial sector leveled up by 2.12%, backed by Alba which rose by 2.20%; the investment sector grew 1.21%, as Al Baraka and Investcorp advanced by 3.64% and 6.45%.
Banks sector increased by 0.95% as AUB, NBB, and Khaleeji grew by 1.46%, 0.72%, and 2.9% respectively, while Bahrain Islamic Bank retreated 0.69%.
Services sector inched down 0.02%, dragged by Nass which lost 1.67%.
