Cairo – Mubasher: Lecico Egypt on Tuesday announced it has turned to losses in the first nine months of 2018, as compared with the same period last year.
Net consolidated loss amounted to EGP 25.3 million in the period between January and September, against a net profit of EGP 30.7 million in the year-ago period, the company said in a filing to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).
Sales doubled to EGP 2.04 billion at the end of September, versus sales of EGP 1.7 billion in the same nine-month period of 2017.
At the level of standalone business, losses surged to EGP 69.8 million in the nine-month period of this year, versus EGP 41.44 million in the prior-year period.
